Why is she screaming every night?

She's almost asleep, snuggled next to me, nursing away, then she pops off, hops out of bed, and demands that I carry her around the house. Not that she has any idea what she wants, so we end up standing some place as she cries and cries and cries. I try to carry her somewhere else--scream. I try to go back to bed--scream. I try to give her food--scream, water--scream, dance with her--scream, hug her--scream, put her down--scream, give her to dh--scream.

Heck???

Or, we're cuddled on the couch, she's half asleep while nursing, I get up to move us to bed--screaming crying and she won't settle down again for a long while.

Or it's 3 in the morning and she wakes up to cry and scream for half an hour.

Otherwise, she's cheerful, and fortunately it is usually only ONE of those times where she falls apart at the baby-seams.

She's definitely going from two naps to one, which I think might be a big part of it, is there any way to help that transition? She hasn't settled on a good time to have her one nap. For awhile it looked like it was going to be around 1pm to around 4pm, but yesterday she didn't crash until 6.

We've had a couple weeks not getting our usual social time since she's been sick. (She's also been sick, but is getting better and this is still happening.)

We're going away for the weekend this weekend : that the new places and people jolts her out of this pattern instead of making things worse!

Could she be getting her two year molars?

Possible, but then wouldn't she want to have frozen things to eat? And be telling me it hurts like she does when she bumps her toes or skins her knee?

(Asking because I'm hoping for people to say "oh no, teething for two year molars is totally different from previous teeth and are more like what you've got going on")
