This week past was my recovery week. And I enjoyed it fully--doing anything but recovering. I did lots of cardio, a little bit of lifting and extra yoga. P90X is just not enough cardio for me and I do not have the time to do anything extra with most workouts for P90X being 75 mins. If I could squeeze 30 minutes of cardio in at some other point during my day, P90X would be awesome. My friend gifted me Insanity and I'm thinking of switching to that but I'm pretty sure there's not enough strength training involved. However, most of the workouts in Insanity are about 40 minutes or so I pretty sure I could fit in 30-40 minutes of strength after that. I think I'm going to have to devise some kind of workout program that suits me because nothing I've found yet is the perfect fit. I want lots of cardio but a pretty heavy emphasis on weight training.
