Was ok with baths but now hates it. What's up with that?

He was fine with getting baths and now he cries. I tried different temps but its not that. I have him in the bath seat and he tries to get out (he's walking).

Does this happen to anyone else's baby? Miles just turned 1.

Mine did this to. Ds loved baths then one day he decided he hated them. Nothing tramatic had happened and I never understood it. I tried showering and taking a bath with him. Bathing him in the kitchen sink. I just did baths when they were REALLY needed. One day something clicked again and he loved them again and still does.

My theory is that he had gotten to a point developmentally where he realized there was something scary/bad that could happen. Who knows, but just wanted to let you know it will get better.

My DD did this around 10 months or so, we started takingg showers with her as that didn't bother her. Around 16 months she got ok with taking them again.

Happened to my 1 year old too. Overnight, seemingly, he suddenly hated a bath. And he has always hated showers. So we just give quick baths when really necessary.
