is 3 months old, and she bf full time, but says he chokes a lot while feeding, like its kind of hard to swallow and gets frustrated and stuff. Same with the bottle, he doesnt have a cleft lip or anything but would a haberman bottle help him? I feel like he needs less of a flow. Could anyone recomend some bottles or some bf tips for her. thanks! i never had problems so I have no clue!

It could be a flow problem. My son had to use a newborn nipple for the longest time because of choking and gagging while feeding. He also had reflux. My dd had reflux too and she also choked and gagged while feeding. It's common for reflux babies to do that because they are so uncomfortable while they are eating, but it could simply be a flow problem and a slower nipple for bottles would help. She could have OALD which causes a very fast flow. Does she have a lactation consultant she could work with?

Sounds like she has a strong ejection of milk, the baby then finds this hard to cope with and chokes, nursing the baby sitting up can help so that they can cope more with the flow - i.e. mother sitting up and baby sitting facing her astride her leg, mother leans slightly back (she'll need lots of cushions and pillows to support her) and lets baby find the breast himself so that he latches on and then can pop off if the flow is too strong, another thing to look out for is that he's not getting too much of the foremilk as her what his stools are like, if they are the mustardy yellow poops then all is well, if green then she may need to block nurse so that baby can put on weight and get to the hindmilk, ask also if he is gassy - with gas pain in the lower intestine rather than up high.
