LTK baby wearer pattern question...

Okay, finished it today- excited and ack what is wrong???? I've done something totally wrong finishing the bottom! It doesn't look like that photo. I know I haven't blocked it yet but it's still totally different. For one thing it's very tight and rolling up. Oh dear, what did I do?????

I don't ever seem to have any luck making things for myself! Why is that????

it looks to me like you probably pulled the attached icord edging too tightly when working it - you've got to be careful to keep the tension nice and loose

Do you think that's it? I was actually trying to be loose! Hmmmm..... I guess I should rip back and try it again and try harder to be looser!
