returning fertility? weight loss and CF

Hi! My DS is 10 months old, and we are not using any birth control right now.

We are starting to think about it, though, b/c I don't want to get pregnant. In the last two weeks, I have lost about 5 pounds effortlessly and I have noticed the reappearance of cervical fluid. I wonder if hormones are at work? I guess I should also say that I haven't had any bleeding since before DS.

Do you think that charting would work well as a method of TTA?

DS isn't on solids, only my milk, and he nurses like a champ at night, too.

Advice? Links?

THANKS!!

Jean

Do you have TCOYF? She has an appendix on breastfeeding and FAM. Sadly, you no longer qualify under the LAM rules as your ds is older than 6 months. Also, once you get CF back you count as fertile - even if you chart your CF and BBT. More than likely, since you haven't gotten PPAF, you're not fertile, but many women can ovulate without having a first PPAF. So if you want to TTA it's safest to use BC every time you BD.

Can I possibly fit any more acronyms in?? :
