Really Cute Maternity Dress?

Anybody seen any super cute maternity dresses lately? I'd be willing to spend some money because I have a few semi-formal occasions coming up and I want to feel pretty. This is my fourth pregnancy and I'm really sick of all my maternity clothes!

I don't really want black, because I have a couple black dresses, and I don't want anything much above the knee or super low cut. I'd probably need a medium size . . .

Ideas, pretty please?

I found a few on oldnavy.com im considering getting... I have a weekend in NC planned to see my DF for the first time since we found out Im pregnant... then a wedding for my cousin next month... then getting ready for my OWN wedding (bridal shower/bachelorette party) so I was looking for some nice cute stuff and I definitely found things I like there! And they arent all black, by far, one of them I like the most comes in either a greenish color or this pretty light blue

Boy, they are ALL low cut, aren't they??

This one is cool because it's also a nursing dress. But it's very wintery, in my opinion. I bet you want something more springy. There are some other pretty maternity dresses on that site.

I kinda like this one and this one.

This one is gorgeous and goddess-like. I would pair it with a little sweater or jacket until the summer.

P.S. I loved these layering tanks when I was pregnant. I would wear one of these and then wear a low-cut blouse or dress over it. It has a sleek feel and look that goes well under more dressy items. These tanks are also great under blouses because they will cover your whole tummy when the blouse gets a little high at the end of the pregnancy.

Sometimes you find nice dresses at Motherhood Maternity, but the quality is awful.
Pea in the Pod is pricey, but has all sizes and great quality (I bought silk dresses there). If you have a Motherhood Maternity outlet close by, go there. Pea in the Pod is the same company and sends their stuff to the outlet. I got an awesome wool dress from Pea in the Pod there for $7! (Gilroy, CA outlets)

Shabby Apple has maternity dresses also.

LionTigerBear--They truly are mostly low cut! I was at Target today and everything I tried would have needed a tank top underneath for my comfort level. I didn't ending getting anything. But I do kind of like that maxi dress you linked . . . and thanks for the link on the layering tanks! The length on those looks perfect!

Nia82--There is a Motherhood outlet near me, which I haven't been to in years, so I may head over and see if they have anything cute. Thanks for the reminder!

Lyterae--Wow, I had never heard of Shabby Apple, but I REALLY liked their stuff! And the prices looked very reasonable to me, too!

Thank you all! I really appreciate the time it took for the replies.

Okay, I'm really bad. I just ordered THREE dresses:

A black one

A blue one

And a blue and white one

And some shoes.

I'm justifying it all because we go to church every week, then there's Easter, an auction for my dd's school, and a friend's baby shower all right around the corner. And I have raging pregnancy hormones.

Please let us know how you like them! I've not ordered from them before I just like to drool over their clothes.

The only place I've found good ones that aren't frumpy is a pea in the pod.

Wow, those are gorgeous!!! Yay!!!

Any other suggestions? I need an all-black dress for my orchestra concerts (I play violin), but the ones at pea in the pod don't seem to be available in XS. I looked at Shabby Apple and they do have XS but they are either full-length, which I don't want, or have stuff around the neck (bow or high collar) which won't work for me.

How long do you want?

So far I have found http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do...d=1&pid=707689 which is cute and comes in XS

Also Liz Lange at Target has a whole section of nothing but little black dresses

Thanks Mae! I'm hoping for knee-length, looks like some good options there.

Have you had the opportunity to try anything at Pea in Pod on? I've found their clothes run about a size small on me. And no, not just because I'm preggo. I'm a S in Motherhood Maternity, but a M in Pea in Pod.

Just wanted to throw it out there!

Looking through all these dresses makes me wish I could do strapless

Just wanted to give you guys a word of warning: dresses that look good in the 2nd trimester may not look so good as you near your due date.

I had cute dresses that I wore a few months ago.

Now all dresses do one of two things: most of them just hang straight down off the belly, so once your belly is really sticking out there, it looks like you're trying to hide a three ring circus under the dress. The other option is one that is more form fitted, which is great except that they make it fitted all over, which means you have visible panty line and possibly visible fat rolls, too.

I was almost in tears trying to find something to wear for my baby shower, and finally went with new pants and shirt.

I am SURE that there are some great dresses out there that go over the stomach and then curve back in and look wonderful without clinging too tightly to your hips and butt. But I couldn't find them!

Thanks for the info, that's good to know. I'm going to go there this week and try some things out.

I dont think so... I think to get that effect you have to wear a separate shirt and skirt.
