I swear that if I could sew I'd figure out a way to make a dress like that and then I'd make a millzion kazillion dollars and never have to work again.

Here are some gorgeous dresses. I own several pieces from this brand and can say that quality and fit are top notch. I do reccommend sizing up though as I found the size charts weren't accurate (at least in my case, and I've been fine with other size charts when ordering maternity online).

And they arent all black, by far, one of them I like the most comes in either a greenish color or this pretty light blue
I have been meaning to ask- how far along will you be at your wedding? I know you were concerned about that before..

Well, I go the dresses and my review is mixed.

The blue and white one was just poorly fit--I can't imagine it would fit well on anyone. The construction was weird and the fabric was really stiff and cheap-feeling cotton. In fact, the cotton on the white side panels was so thin that you could see the moles on my skin through it! Not cute for the price, for sure. It's going back.

The other two were cut really beautifully and the fit was very flattering, but the material is a little on the thin side and I'm afraid that they'll be too see-through in the sunlight. I'll have to try them on again before I decide if I'm keeping them. I really don't want to have to wear a slip because it's hot here in the summer.

Thanks for the help, and I'll let you know if I stumble upon anything amazing!
Summerforver1977, those Isabella Oliver dresses are beautiful! I may break down and get something on sale from there since I'm returning one of the others.

Great thread! I just found and ordered this dress at Destinationmaternity.com, which has a lot of Motherhood and A Pea in the Pod dresses at clearance prices. This dress was only $37, marked down from $148.

I have had some luck with just regular non-maternity dresses that are cut right under the boobs...a-line??? Like a PP said, they might not fit well in the end of pregnancy, but for now (almost 27 weeks) they work. I found some at Walmart, of all places, for $12 (and since I will probably never want to wear them again after I am pregnant, and this is my last pregnancy, I can get rid of them without feeling guilty that I spent a lot of money)....these are just sun dresses though and not nice dresses for church or a nice function.

Just to update, I ended up ordering this one and it came today. Fits and looks great, and just in time as one of my concerts is this Sunday. I'll try to get DH to take a picture of me so I can post it.

Thanks again Mae! I never would have thought of looking at Target as they never have anything in the stores in my size.

I dont even HAVE a Target store near me so everything I get from there I have to order. They are one of the only places I have found that carry my not-so-common bra size.

The pictures don't do it justice (I got lots of compliments on it yesterday), but it is really hard to take good pictures of black outfits, and DH is not that much of a photographer to begin with. This is me at 22 weeks: side and front
