problem with a period like this?

pink discharge still coming out...day 11 of cycle. My periods are always 5-6 days long. Should I be worried or could it be normal?

My only experience with something like this was a miscarriage. I only found out it was a miscarriage because I kep bleeding like that, pink, stop, start, red, etc so I went to my midwife and learned I was pregnant, but then lost it. I hope this is not the case for you, but I would urge you to take a pregnancy test just to be sure, it would most likely still be positive.

The only good part about checking and knowing is that you can check again weekly until it's negative and make sure that the process completed. Otherwise, if you check and it's negative then you can stop worrying/thinking about that and move on to other things if it doesn't resolve on it's own. I hope it's not a miscarriage, it's really hard, even when it's really early.

I took a test last night and it was positive. I'm in shock. I guess I lost it. How long will it stay positive in your experience?

I was just looking for this same information. I'm only on my 6th day, but my period is still very heavy when it is usually really light on the 4th day, and ends on the 5th.

Maybe too soon for me to think of a miscarriage, but I was wondering if taking a pregnancy test would answer the question.

yes, testing would likely answer your question. I'm not sure on exactly the pregnancy hormones remain as it would depend on how far a long you were and all of that individual stuff. For me, I think I was about 6 weeks and it remained for at least 2 weeks after my "period" when I discoved the miscarriage.

Mine both went negative again pretty quick. This last one the baby was 6-8 weeks along and it was positive when I started bleeding on Friday, baby passed on Monday, and it was negative by the next Monday when I checked again. I bled for another week after that.
