I just wanted to share this cute and fun story...
We have been buying raw milk from a local farm in my area for the past six months or so. We buy it in half-gallon containers, and on the front of each container is a label with a portrait of one of the farm cows and the words, "Whole Raw Milk Featuring Saucy the Jersey Cow. ."
Or Sugar the Brown Swiss. Or Cinnbad the Jersey Cow. Each with portraits of the individual cow.
It is silly, but we LOVE this! It is so fun to put a "face" to our milk. And my daughter loves opening up the fridge, pouring a glass of milk, and then saying a cheery, "Thank you for the milk, Sugar!" before closing up the fridge.

and free range meat is so difficult to get that it verges on being impossible to find! I cannot wait to move back to the states and have the option to do this! AHHHHH only a little while longer....I am curious (as I always am) what state do you live in? is milk easily availble to you?
