Cloth Diapering a "Chunky" baby?

It's me again! lol

We are currently cloth diapering our youngest son (10 weeks old). He weighs 13 lbs 7.7 oz and is a "Chunky Monkey"! He out grew the newborn prefolds rather rapidly, so he's now in the Medium sized ones.

I am wondering if getting some OS'd diapers might be a better fit for him? Anyone have experience in this? It seems to me the OS'd ones would be more comfortable for him to wear.

My little one is also a big boy. I'm using a variety of one sized pockets with him and most are fitting quite well. He is on the largest setting at 5 months because it is the best fit around his thighs. It makes me wonder how a couple of the brands will fit down the road but I'm thinking he will also slim down a bit once he's moving around more.
My current favs are the Happy Heiny's and the Blueberry one size pockets.
The ones that aren't fitting so well are the one size FuzziBunz and Gro-Baby.

My son's a big guy (around 22 lbs at 5.5 months) and always has been. We've found that prefolds with Thisties Duo Wraps (the "two sized" ones, specifically in the larger size) have worked wonderfully for us.

these are great if you're willing to do prefolds or fitteds and covers! this combo has worked wonderfully on dd ever since they first came out- she was maybe 4 mos? and they still fit her on the middle setting. love it! i just wish it was easier to get her in a prefold.

Ds is another chunky little guy. I've been using the one size Mommy's Touch covers & they have worked really well for us.
