where do I start? Late O (cd 33) and short LP

AF showed up this morning, I'm not happy. Im trying to turn this frustration into something positive and constructive, so im focussing all this energy on trying to find a solution.
I've always had irregular cycles (but no other signs or symptoms of PCOS). A normal cycle for me, before baby, was O around cd20-25, followed by a 14 day LP. It's longish, but manageable.
Now, probably because of the nursing, I have looong cycles with short LPs
I've heard about B6, Vitex, Maca... How do I know which one(s) to use? And how to use them? When to start, when to stop...? Are they safe during breastfeeding?
What are you guys doing? Any ressources you can point me toward?

I'm trying the b6 this cycle. I only started at 1dpo but it already seems to be helping. My temp usually starts going down by this time and it's still going up. I'm 9dpo. Normal LP for me is 11dpo (breastfeeding.)
The 2 main treatments for LPD is b6 and progesterone.
Also you could try clomid to create a stronger O which could improve LP. But that could negatively affect your milk supply.

It seems I'm making a career out of nursing and TTCing, so here's my 2 cents.
Chart and temp if you don't already.
Take a prenatal (or a good multivitamin). I take the rainbow light prenatal one. I got them at Target of all places and they were $9.99 for 2 months supply. They have a lot of b complex vitamins so you won't need another b complex.
Add b6. I'd start with 100mg a day.

With b6 alone, and using OPKs and charting, I got pregnant while nursing my 13 month, and had my second son. It was only my 2nd or 3rd cycle pp.

We started TTCing #3 in July and this time my cycles were totally crazy, 30-40 days and I didn't ovulate in mostof them. BUT I did manage somehow to get pregnant doing NOTHING AT ALL in November, but we lost the baby (chromosomal) at 12 weeks last month.

So we are back at it, again.
I'm still nursing my 19 month old, I can't imagine him weaning anytime soon that's for sure. I added Maca right after the MC because I knew my cycles were going to weird for a while afterwards, and my first cycle was actually on the normal side (still a shorter LP but still). I love Maca, it gives me a lot of energy. It is safe while breastfeeding (it's a food not an herb). B6 is also safe while nursing (the max daily dosage is 500mg but you need to stay away from that, I wouldn't go over 250mg myself). The one thing about B6 is that it combats prolactin (hence lengthening your lp) but therefore it can reduce milk supply. so if you baby is young and needs the milk for nurishment be careful and start at a low dose. Good luck to you!
