Still Bleeding ... 10 weeks later!

My DS2 is 10 weeks old and I'm STILL bleeding!! Has anyone else experienced this? I only bleed for 4 weeks with DS1. The bleeding isn't super bad, but it's still there and so annoying!

I use a panty liner or two a day. I think I'm going to have to make an appt. on Monday!

With DD I bled like that for 9.5 weeks. So far i'm at 6 weeks with my little dude and looks like it's lining up to be the same. SIGH. Really regretting not ever getting around to making mama cloth for postpartum, these stupid pads give me a rash.

Oh yeah. Sounds normal. I stopped bleeding for a while, then a month later had some bleeding and thought I was getting my cycle back...turned out to be just more bleeding. It eventually stopped.

For my first it was 12 weeks. for my second 3 weeks. Every baby and birth is different.

I do think it's a good idea to discuss with your HCP too though - with dd1, I had lochia past 9 weeks (I think it was 10 weeks when we got it addressed); it ended up being a small bit of retained placenta (which was affecting my milk supply too). I think there are all sorts of variations, but it's worth checking out.
