Need a CHEAP decent ring sling

And no i can't sew even a little bit.

Hi,

I have quite a few baby carriers (beco, pikkolo) and slings, but i would like a ring sling that i can keep in the car to do a quick hip carry (10 month old DS) for in and out of stores. I have 2 different pocket slings, that i guess i should be able to use for this, but one requires quite a bit of adjusting (hotsling) and the other has a sewn shoulder so i can't pull it down far enough and it ends up rubbing my neck (hugamonkey)
I did love both of these thought for other carries at different times.
Thoughts for good, not expensive ring slings. My DH is going to kill me if i spend anymore $$ on ANOTHER baby carrier/sling!

Thanks

I use a pouch sling for the same purpose. I looked at ring slings, but didn't want all the extra fabric.

I looked on Craigslist and Etsy.

Sleeping Baby Productions has a good reputation. I have a Taylormade sling that is currently on clearance on their website actually. Although to do it over again, I might have gone with a SBP sling. They are very highly reviewed on TheBabyWearer.

Yes! Get a SBP sling. They are very good quality, and you would be supporting a wonderful mama (Jan is vert active in the babywearing community). I believe she has a '$20 and under' section on her site.

I'll third the recommendation for SBP, Jan's slings are excellent
