peekaru vest and a sleeping baby

Thread Starter
I have a peekaru vest and love it except that when my tiny falls asleep I have to hold his head as there is nothing to support it ... or is there a way to support his head with the vest on and I just haven't figured it out yet?
He's usually carried in a woven wrap and occasionally a Beco.
Thanks.

Hi!
I have a Beco (with a sleeping hood) and a mei tai with a hood, and I pulled the hood through the hole that baby's head goes through, then attached it through the opening where my head goes through.

Another thing that might help - you can fold down a piece of cloth (I use small cloth diapers for this), in a roll and put it around baby neck (on their back side), to give more support. This I usually use when I carry my LO in a wrap, but you can try something like that...

HTH!

I often throw a triangle bandage into my pocket when I go out with my son. I can easily tie it around myself and him to support his head.

I just bought a Freehand hood from Frogmama w/ shipping for $16 or so....although the bandana idea sounds good - and cheaper
