The 10 days that is suggested is that across the board? As in everyone no matter weight or anything should go 10 days? I am approaching my 5th day, before I started I weighed 115 and I can tell I am losing weight but my I do feel weak, I guess this is normal..... I did not do this for weight lose but because I have dealt with BV for ions and looking to start with new eating habits but just wanted some sound advice is all...........

I'm no expert, but when I did it, my HCP told me to start with 5 days, and to do 7 if I could. I made it 5 (barely). Then a month later he told me to do 7, and a month or two after that 10. I never made the whole week, but I had some other things going on at the time that made it really hard to stick with.

He did say that if I felt weak or hungry on it, to drink more of the lemonade. That weakness means I'm not getting enough calories, so definitely drink more to keep your blood sugar stable and some calories in you for fuel.

10 days is recommended to get a good cleanse. People do lose different amounts of weight, but remember that about half of that is simply water and accumulated waste in your intestines. The rest will come back as you start to eat normally again.

If you are feeling weak, increase your lemonade intake or just add more maple syrup. I felt really cold the first couple of times I did it, but I don't any longer. You will go through some days where you feel awful, but that is the toxins leaving your system. Read up on cleansing/detox crises (bah, I can't remember the exact phrase but it is something similar). They talk about how days when you feel particularly bad, incredible cravings, emotional, etc is often just a big detox day. If you push on, the next morning you should feel much better.

yes, it is 10 days regardless of starting weight. It isn't about losing weight but about cleansing.

I agree that you could increase lemons or lemon drink, add more maple syrup, add cayenne pepper that is warming.

I also found colonics extremely helpful in moving things along. I thought I got more out of the cleanse because it is, to me, an ordeal to go through this. Congrats on making it this far.
