Any no-poo pool swimmers out there?

Tell me what you do, please!
Thanks.

I was just coming here to ask the same question! I am allergic to gluten and soy. Not washing my hair makes a huge difference between having a good health day and a bad health day, but I need to be able to get the chlorine out of my hair when I go swimming a few days a week.

I'd love to know too. My whole family has recently stopped using shampoo and my husband and 3 year old swim all the time.

Well, I just went ahead without advice, and I've been using a diluted apple cider vinegar + essential oil mixture, applying plenty when I start my shower, and letting it sit til just before I get out. Nothing to report, no one would know that I'm not using 'poo, but maybe overall a little softer. I just don't know enough about the chemistry to add or not add baking soda or something else. Or rather, I'm too brain dead from sleep deprivation to learn. Anyone educated/ more experienced/ less tired?

I heard somewhere that if you get your hair wet first in the shower, the chlorine water doesn't absorb so much. I usually just rinse with an ACV rinse, and my 2 year old as well. I used to be fanatic about using 'chlorine getting out' shampoo, but I just had to get over that!
