what time does your baby go to sleep? - Page 2

DS started sleeping through the night around 3 months old, she took two naps from 3 - 8 months old, now she is a one nap baby at 10+ months. She has always been a night owl, we don't dare put her in bed before 9:30 which is our goal. It is mostly 10:00 p.m, but has been as late as 11:30 p.m. If she naps in the late afternoon/evening (like last night) she is easily up until 1:00 a.m. Last night it was 12:45 a.m. and woke up at 9:45 a.m. Usually if she is in bed by 9:30 she is awake by 7:30/8:00.

DD is 9.5 months old and generally has a pretty set schedule. She's asleep by 8:30 (sometimes a bit earlier if she hasn't napped well that day) and up when DH gets up, at 6:30. It works out great for us. The past two mornings she has slept in until 7:30, daylight savings time! She's thrown off on her naps now though - she just went down for her morning nap and it's lunchtime!

At six months we started a bedtime routine that has really saved my sanity (before that he would fall asleep randomly between 6-11). The bath starts at 6:30, then massage, pjs, and books. I nurse him down and he is out by 7:15 or so most nights. He has just started this thing where he wakes up every half hour after that . That happens a couple times, then he is out and up every 1-2 hours to nurse (we cosleep so this is usually uneventful). Sometimes he needs rocking during the night to help him fall back to sleep. He wakes between 6:30-7AM. He naps about two hours after he wakes for 1-2 hours and then has one or two more naps depending on the day. He is seven months old now.
