Weird rash only on my belly?

I figure I'll call my midwife about this in a bit but I'm hoping someone can give me a little insight here first.

I have a rash only on my belly, above my belly button to below my rib cage only on the front. It looks like hives I guess, smallish raised red marks that look sort of like scars from a burn. They don't itch. And again, only on my belly between my bellybutton and rib cage on the front. Any ideas? I'm 13 weeks pregnant, FWIW.

The way my MW explained it to me, our bodies, exp at the beginning and very end of pregnancy, are kinda' freaking out from the hormone variances. The hormones can cause our histamine (S?) to overreact and break out into hives, welts, dry spots, etc. I think Benadryl is safe to take to get things calmed down but ask your MW.
