Traveling and Education

I'll be taking my 4 yr old, 2 yr old, and 9 month old to Utah for 2 weeks next month. I'm very new to the homeschooling thing and want to visit places that will be fun and educational for my kids. What kind of experiences do you plan for when you travel so as to be intellectually stimulating and experiencing things you can't experience in your hometown?

I'm interested in contacting homeschoolers in SLC/Utah Valley as well, if you're interested in meeting up! I'd love to check out any stores for hsing supplies or that carry curriculum or LDS curriculum while I'm there.

All recommendations/advice welcome! TIA!

We travel a lot with our children and I always use this site for info:
www.travelforkids.com

I especially love their booklists for each location.

Have fun!
