with my son's pee. The ammonia smell is THAT STRONG.

DH did a brief Google yesterday and said it's usually the result of a high protein diet. DS has been all about meats lately. We try to do some veggies and some carbs but he's really not into it. We've done BLW his whole life so I just go with what he's into at the moment. He's still mainly BFing so I haven't worried about nutrition or anything...

Experience? Thoughts?

Just a random thought...
Do you cloth diaper? I thought that DD's urine was really strong smelling, but I then figured out that my inserts in my pocket diapers needed to be stripped. I figured it out after she peed on a towel after bath time one night and the towel didn't smell like ammonia at all.

If it actually is his urine smelling so strongly, then sorry but I have no ideas.

We do CD and stripping is my next step....but his pee in the potty or on a prefold does smell faintly of ammonia
