Ok, I keep reading that the cervix starts out posterior but becomes more anterior for labor...
but i'm trying to figure out what that means. this says:
Ok, so does "faces" mean the outside (vaginal) of the cervix facing front or the uterus side of the cervix? That is, if I were to reach up there and try and check, would a posterior cervix be found toward the front of my vagina facing backward or toward the back of my vagina going the other way? Maybe i'm over-thinking this? Anyone got a link to a good picture of this so I can get a better visual image?

Quote:
| Position refers to the positioning of the cervix. If the cervix faces front (anterior) it is more favorable, while posterior is less favorable. |
