Internet cheapie tests

Just curious...

I tested at 10DPO and got beautiful positives with name brand tests.

My internet cheapie was pos. as well, but light. They have consistently gotten darker since then, but still never as dark as the control line. I'm now 17 DPO or so and wondering what it takes to get a dark positive on those tests! Thoughts?

I got a super light line on an IC at day 10, by day 12 you didn't have to squint but it was still really light, and a FRER showed a nice line. I had just ordered 20 of them (because I hoped that would cause me to get pregnant, lol), so I used them until 20 DPO, it took that long before the test line was a dark as the control line. I think that's just how those tests are.

Yeah, my experience is that some of the cheaper tests ($Tree, too) just don't get as dark as others. I bought 40 wondfo ICs a month or two ago, so I've been using them up as much as I feel like and they're not anything like as dark as the control - which is VERY dark. But they're bright and clear and so abundantly obviously positive that I still like them.

http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5292.jpg theres mine all the way through 20dpo (and they were showing a shadow of a line before even FRER were)

23dpo I got this http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5373.jpg

and about three days later I got it to the point where they are the same color.

Why would a cheaper pregancy test give a different result?

Don't they all work the same way?

well, less sensitive tests or tests with less dye would not get darker as fast.

They don't ALL work the same because some are considerably more sensitive than others are.
