What's your absolute fave diaper bag? (Infant and toddler)

I am getting ready to #3....#2 will be 2.5yo when #3 comes. Right now I don't bring a diaper bag anywhere. I have snacks in the car. She is potty trained. So anything I need is just stuck in the car. We were gifted this insanely expensive Coach diaper bag (think like $400) with DD2. Truly, it may be the least usable diaper bag ever. One huge pocket, no shoulder strap, just does not work. I am considering ebay-ing it and getting a new super fly diaper bag that will accomodate everything I need. I am fine shelling out a decent amount, as I am hoping to off-set some cost with the selling of my other bag. Plus, we are planning (probably) one more child and hope this will me be my last bag purchase.

Any recommendations?

I have a Petunia Picklebottom Boxy Backpack diaper bag that I received as a gift when DS1 was born. It's pretty and all, and I like it fine. Not too many pockets, has a removable changing pad, can be worn as a backpack or carried with shoulder strap. But, I tend to leave it in the closet and use my Trader Joe's cloth grocery bag 99% of the time instead.

Lol, I have that syndrome with my gym bag. I have a super nice gifted gym bag, and end up toting my clothes to the gym in a grocery bag.

I have a Lug bag that my grandma bought for me (in "grass"). It's not technically a diaper bag but has outside and inside pockets, came with a drawstring bag and has lots of little nooks and crannies. I love it! I picked it out because it is neutral and I can use it long after babies. My friend had a Petunia Picklebottom and I wanted one but have since noticed it is fraying around the edges.

Any other reviews? I am looking for a new bag, too.

I have this Fleurville bag that I really like:

I have a chicco bag
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=3535414

despite the online reviews, I love it for when we will be out all day, it has plenty of storage, enough pockets, and is neutral enough I can use it for the next baby - whenever that happens - even if I have a girl.

I did have this one:

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2622056

and it is no good. I hate the flap thing, as there is no inside zipper we lost some items b/c they fell out. it's cute. (that is what I get for letting DH pick the bag - all style, no function! LOL)

we also have this one:

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2591372

which I rather like, it is small, has a long enough shoulder strap, only downside is no changing pad. (granted I rarely use one, mostly only if changing a poop or on a public changing table)

Granted, I am never toting a ton of bottles either - at most one - and that was mostly when DH was very tiny -weeks old - b/c it was easier to do expressed milk than a prolonged and challenging nursing session in public.

It depends on what you take. I have 4-6 diapers, wipes, changing pad, and two changes of clothes (a day outfit and pajamas), a paci, diaper trash bags, and teething tablets. Oh, and my nursing cover a flannel blanket/burpcloth, and a couple extra bibs - when I remember. This seems like a long list, but really it doesn't take up much space.

DS is 5 months old - and often we bring the bag with us, but it stays in the car unless I know I need to change him or I will need to nurse.

I have the JJ Cole System 180. It came with a pacifier pod, changing pad, stroller hook... it has tons of pockets and pouches. I love it.

I have a couple of really cute diaper bags that sit idle in my closet.

I USE this:

http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_d...=1272389066307

I have a larger one that is big enough to tote a laptop; I use that for the newborn period when I need to cram in many dipes and a sling or Moby; I move to the Rundle as soon as possible. Not as cute, but they stand up to being lugged around, jammed in a stroller basket, etc....

If I'm going somewhere fancy I dig out the cute diaper bag... but it's not nearly as useful!

I have a LeSportSac "Liz". They're discontinued now, but they have a similar bag up on the LSS website. It's a wicked good diaper bag, lots of compartments, mama-compartment, adjustable shoulder strap and carry handles, matching change pad and stroller clips. Looks like a sporty purse, you'd never guess it was a diaper bag. It retails for $170, but I found it at Winners (Kind of like a Canadian Ross) for $100

I've been through several bags, but my favorites are (and always will be) my Fleurville Tote and Mothership bags. I haven't gotten any others since those.

I have a Maxwell Designs Hemp messenger style bag that I really like:http://maxwelldesigns.ca/index.php?p...dulacia-Orange.

I absolutely love it!

My current one is just a backpack http://www.ebags.com/product/ebags/d...ackpack/112571. It's the perfect size of not too big and not too small. Ever since DD started to walk, I can't seem to handle shoulder bags any more while holding her hand and/or chasing her.

My original Oioi one was really nice, cute and huge.http://www.ebags.com/product/oioi/gr...per-hobo/86808

I can tell you what doesn't work (at least for me). I have the PPB Shoulder bag. It is beautiful, but not the greatest designed.

http://www.petunia.com/collections/o...granadanights/

It is huge, but there is not a lot of room inside? The side pockets are stiff so small things fall out. The shoulder strap is not adjustable. It is also super heavy. I DO like the changing pad, it is zippered on the outside of the bag so it doesn't take up precious space inside the bag.

I actually don't even carry a full diaper bag these days, I found a little fold up travel changing pad that holds 3 diaper inserts (we use G Dipes), wipes and diaper cream, everything else is strewn about the car.

My favorite bags are definitely Ju Ju Be bags. Right now I have a BeAll and a BeLight .

The BeAll is a fantastic all day bag. It holds plenty of stuff for two kids, a baby and a toddler. I've been carrying it for over two years and it is in fantastic condition. Ju Ju Be's wear really well.

As much as I love the BeAll, I have to admit that the BeLight is probably my favorite everyday bag and I find myself carrying it all the time. It's small, so I only carry a few diapers (1 for my toddler, 3-4 for the newborn) and not much else. I love the extra long tying straps because they fit beautifully around carriers. It's wonderful for shorter trips to the store or to the mall.

I've also heard great things about the Ju Ju Be [URL="http://www.ju-ju-be.com/our_products.asp?prodid=bespicy"]BeSpicy [/URL. It's a larger bag that is supposed to be pretty good for multiple children. I've been trying to find a way to justify trying it out.

i'm lusting after the ju ju "be tween", but had to spend this month's baby budget on a stroller and baby's physical therapy. maybe next month

currently i use a backpack to keep extras in the car and a purse, that belongs to dd1, with enough for just 1 diaper change with me when out and about

I own the Ju-Ju Be Prepared. I am a chronic over-packer, and this thing is BIG, but I LOVE it. It's so nice, and I love the enormous memory-foam changing pad.

I had the Be Spicy but it didn't pack up right. For the price, the Be Prepared is way better.

I have the Zany Zinnia print. Much cuter in person than online.
