Sick baby questions!

Hi all!

My 6 month DS has a cold, and has been feeling under the weather. He had a slight fever two nights ago, but seemed to be feeling better today... Until I checked his diaper! In the 12 hours we were in bed, his diaper only got slightly wet. Not as soaked as it usually is.

He also seems to have a red splotchy rash on his chest/back.
he doesn't seem lethargic, just grumpy.

Is this common for babies with a cold? Or is it something I need to get checked out?

Hmm... I don't think so! He's had the rash for a couple of days already, before the fever came.. And the fever wasn't high enough (My book says roseola fevers are high... At least 103.5, and his never got higher than 102)

But it could be.

There's still no wet/dirty diapers! This is the part that's worrying me the most, I think.

It could be a heat rash from the fever...it happened to DH once actually.

It's definitely not that, that looks awful! Feel better soon!

Also, we have pee! I don't think I've ever been so excited about DS soaking through a diaper before.
