getting ready to TTC again after a long break-- ideas/tips?

OK! My partner and I TTC for about 20 cycles starting a few years ago. Got all the testing done after 6 or so months of no success. Both of our systems looked great, all test results excellent. Still no pg.

I have 28-day cycles and used OPKs with clear positive results around day 12 or 13. We had sex 2 or 3 times around O each time. Did acupuncture for six months, took a break from that, back to acu for another 5-6 months. Had a lap to check for endo, all clear. 3 cycles of Clomid. Did 2 IUIs with injectibles- nothing. Did one round of IVF (with a gift of $ from my mom!!), no pg and there went $13k. The whole time we were TTC I was doing all the green tea, EPO, Fish Oil, herbs, I can't even remember what else.

14 months ago we quit TTC, pursued adoption. We didn't used BC but avoided sex during ovulation the past 12 months. We are bringing our daughter home () in April.

SO I really want to have a bio kid too, one day. We're already talking about it and I'd like to figure out what I should do to prep for TTC again in maybe 6 months or so. Depending of course on how parenting this first one is going. But my partner is 35, I'm turning 35 this summer, so would like to improve our chances if possible.

Any advice on what to do to prepare my body for another round of TTC? (We are still avoiding sex during O currently, btw, just to make sure we don't interrupt our adoption with a surprise!) I am a runner but I recently stopped running b/c I felt I was putting too much stress on my body. Now just lots of walking and some yoga. I was thinking I'd start acu again soon but would like additional ideas too.

Thank you!!!!

Congratulations on your adoption!

It sounds like you have done it all on the fertility side, I can't imagine what advice I could give you. Just trust yourself. I know of many families that got pregnant after adopting one or even 2 children, it just seemed that was the way their family was meant to grow. I know that isn't helpful- but I wish you well on growing your family!

We use supplements to prepare.
For Me: Fertility Blend, Calcium, Cod Liver Oil
For Him: Now Brand Tri-Aminos , A good Multi-Vitamin

I've always been hypothyroid-to-borderline hypothyroid. And I think I have a progesterone issue. The Fertility Blend really helps with that.
He had a diagnosed very dire sperm insufficiency, and the Tri-Aminos are the only way we've had children, I truly believe that (that and God!).

ETA: We got pregnant with our first after 3 yrs TTC, testing, foster parenting, almost adopting. And look at my siggie, lol! I'm not saying there is a miracle solution for everyone, but that was our story.
