Breastfeeding and Flovent

Another nursing/meds question from me...

I've had a chronic cough for a while now and a chest x-ray has indicated some inflammation in my lungs. My dr prescribed me a Flovent puffer to take everyday for a few weeks. My son is 2.5 yrs old and doesn't nurse that much any more - either 1-2 times a night or he'll skip a day (sometimes two). I guess cause it's not that often anymore, and because I had a lot to go over with my dr, I forgot to ask about the compatibility of Flovent with breastfeeding. So, if anyone has any info I'd be grateful.

Dr. Hale says....it's an L3, and no effects have been noted in breastfed infants.

My good friend's child started on flovent at age 2 - and you know that she gets more by inhaling it than your baby will by nursing (it pretty much stays in the lungs.) I trust Hale 100%, but also like to know that the medication is safe to give to kids!
