I'm just wondering how long you have to wait before taking a pregnancy test? Is it 1 week before you will get a true result? Don't think I am but I'm wanting to do a little cleanse so I want to be sure!

I think you'd need to wait at least 2 wks after ovulation to get a sure result. And even then, sometimes it can take a bit longer. I'd test when AF was due, and if I really wanted to be on the safe side I'd test again a few days later.

the dollar store tests are very accurate and sense low levels of hcg. i got a pos. test about 9-10 days after ovulation with those. also, post in the ttc forum and youll get tons of info.

Thanks ladies. My cycles are VERY irregular so i really don't know when I ovulate so that' s the hard part
