Can I remove the fabric from my co-sleeper?

I just pulled out my Arm's Reach mini co-sleeper to make sure it was clean and ready to use when it's needed. It's been used by my older son, and my friend's two sons, but still seems in good condition. However, the fabric could use a washing - is it possible to remove it at all and wash it? Or should I just try to do it while on the co-sleeper?
Also - the top bar seems jammed or something - I tried forever the other night to open it and had to quit before I threw it into the street... I think the fabric may be caught. Anyone else had this problem with theirs???

I've been wondering the same thing.

I have the Arm's Reach Universal.....All of the fabric lifted right off of it to wash it....I would hang dry to avoid shrinkage.
