Goodwill is cleaning out their winter sweaters for 50% off! I found two that had tiny itsy bitsy holes and I scored them for $.50 and $.99!!! I can't wait to get sewing!

very nice. i once actually found a swaddlebee's diaper at Savers for $.99! but to find nice winter sweaters for super-cheap is awesome, too!! are you making pants, shorties, skirties, or all of the above?

Oh, yes, I scored quite a few on Sunday. I had to restrain myself since I already had several at home that have yet to be cut up and used. I cut the remants up of one I'd used for longies and made extra doublers last night. But, this weekend I did not pay more than $2.50 for a sweater. And two of them were cashmere! I'm going to use those (one is pink and the other is green) to make some easter bunny softies.

Great find! I keep on buying them when I find them so cheap. I probably have over 30 ready to be made into something.
