What to make with Lamb bone broth?

I just started making bone broth and while picking up a few items at the local store I noticed tney were selling lamb bones and on impluse I just bought them. Now I have this yummy bone broth simmering and I don't think it will be as "universal" as say chicken or beef stock. I find lamb has a bit of a different taste to it, stronger? What can I make with it?
Thanks!

I like to have it on hand (in the freezer) for when we braise any cut of lamb, which happens pretty often around here. It is also good as a soup base and a general stock for adding to sauces, stews, and veggies.

(I just did a quick search on the BBC website for recipes involving lamb stock and came up with 62! I guess you could say it's pretty versatile.)

My favourite recipe to use with lamb stock is Scotch Broth - basically a barley soup with lamb and carrots.

Never heard of Scotch broth before but it sounds devine! Yum!
Thanks for the list Kl5- I had a look through it and the recipes were way out of my skill set. Or maybe they just sound that way- either way, I wish I had the time and money to make that kind of gourmet food!
I mostly throw things into a pot and hope for the best

In that case, next time you have a piece of lamb, throw it in the pot with some of your lamb stock! Easy and delicious. The barley soup sounds great too.

Honestly, though, a lot of those recipes sound really complicated and they are, because they are written by chefs who want to distinguish themselves. But they all boil down to simple techniques that can be applied to more basic food that is easy to execute and will taste amazing. One thing I love about buying whole animals (or sides) is finding recipes for all the weird bits. I usually start with my cookbooks and then go to the internet and read as many recipes as I can find, narrowing down the type of thing I am going for in the process. Then usually just come up with my own version based on what I read. Sometimes it works and sometimes (often) it is less than successful. But I always learn something and we always eat well.

I use it as the liquid in a soup or sauce and find that the taste doesn't really come out that much in combination with other ingredients. It's especially good in a hearty green lentil and root veggie soup with marjoram, thyme, rosemary, parsley, sage, basil...

try searching for a thread called "bone broth breakfast!!!"

I'm afraid I don't know how to quote stuff, it's on page 4 right now (= early march)

I've been making that egg/lemonjuice/bone broth mix with a greek name I cannot pronounce or spell, BUT it's very good with any type of broth
(but then I'm a big fan of lamb bone broth anyway)

I had not thought of using broth this way and now I am at least every other day if not more
