Washing in a HE washer?

Help!

I CD'd my first for several months and just found out I'm pg again. I want to CD this one from the beginning until the end. So I do know a little about CDing but I have a question about washing.

The first time around, I had a regular ol' washer and dryer. This time I've got HE, front loading machines (that I hate, but that's a whole other story!) I have noticed that there is no plain "rinse" cycle on my washer. I know that most instructions regarding washing CDs require a first rinse, etc.

So for those of you who have machines like mine, what do you do? TIA!

If you go digging, this question is addressed probably every other week.

But if you tell us the make and model of your machine, someone who has one may be able to help you.

Mine doesn;t offer that. I do a short wash (mine has that option, its about 15 minutes) in cold. Then I switch to hot and longer wash with extra rinse )

I do a short cold/cold cycle, no additives, then a long hot/cold cycle with very little detergent.

I had a FL that I hated and now have a TL Anyways I just do a cold cycle it is a full cycle length and then do my hot wash and hot wash cycles with no soap as rinse cycle. Really any cold cycle you have will do the job and it can be as long or short as you wish.

Congrats on your pregnancy!

Ahhh...one of the annoyances of new posters! Asking those same old tired questions. Shame on me!

Thanks, ladies. I appreciate your helpful replies. After taking a closer look at my machine, I think I may have it figured out.
