Best places to get supplies?

Where are the best places to find supplies, things like maps and globes and fun stuff like that? I need cheap!

I'm still wavering on homeschooling, but I figure in any case, this kind of thing would be good to have on hand. I think if I homeschool, I don't really want to follow a set of textbooks or curriculum. (Except for math. I think I'll need it for math.)

I've gotten all our globes fro thrift stores or garage sales! And all our maps from the thrift store (Goodwill).
