How to care for inflamed penis

My son is intact and 3 years old. It appears on one side of his penis is slightly red and swollen. It looks like one side of the head of his penis is swollen underneath the skin. I cannot put back his skin yet to look. What should I do to care for it? My son says it hurts a little and itches.

I gave him some vitamin C and probiotics.

Most likely it is just beginning to separate. If it is, it should be all cleared up in 24-48 hrs.

Just do stuff to make him comfortable, such as a nice soothing bath.

Just keep an eye on it to see if anything changes.
