So are blue +/- tests known for false positives/evaps?

I just took my first Clear Blue Easy Early test and immediately saw a blue line forming within seconds ... and then I thought it disappeared and then around the 10-12 min mark I saw it (very faint) but definately there and blue and now that it is drying ... has been about 3 hours it is very definately there...a little thin but blue. I'm between 7-11 dpo ... I'm not really sure. I was sick earlier in the month and my cycle is very long ... What is the chance that this is a real positive? I wished I had known about all the false positives before buying these ... I only got them because there was a good sale on them a week or so ago otherwise I would have gotten FRER.

Wow that stinks. I wish I had saved my money on a test that works!

ESPECIALLY the thin ones... there have been thick false positives but the majority I have seen are a thin line... even some extremely dark.

Yep I had two thin positive lines last year when I took a test during a pregnancy scare. They were both false positives and both dark blue but very skinny.

YES! I am pretty sure I got one this weekend. From what i'm readin in the internet the pink dye tests are better.

Yep. I got 2 blue false positives in January, before I knew better. Dark lines, not evaps. That was NOT fun.
