Do any of you take expired medications??

Hi all. Well I have a yeast infection (which Im taking acidophilus for) but I just realized that I have a 150 mg diflucan pill that was prescribed to me for a yeast infection when I was pregnant. I didnt want to take it being pregnant so I still have it. The only problem is that the expiration date says 4/2009, so it is almost a year old... It is in a sealed package, not a bottle, since it is only 1 pill... Would this still be good to use since it has not been exposed to air? I appreciate any advice!

I personally would still try it. Most medications start to lose potency after their expiration date, but are still perfectly safe to take. I'm sure there may be exceptions to that, though.

The only ones I don't touch are liquid antibiotics, since they don't last more than 2 weeks.
