Ok, Mamas, I have been getting more and more into food preservation over the last couple of years. I am at the point where I basically set up an extra table in my kitchen from June to October to hold my canning pot, jars, lids, and other paraphernalia. I am considering getting a pressure canner so I can do more veggies and possibly salmon or other meats.

What types are out there? What's good, what's not. Do you find it a useful thing to have around? Are they worth the money and space? What foods or recipes do you love it for?
