Charting QOTD

Do your pregnancy charts look similiar to one another?

Have you had cycles that resembled your pregnancy charts in which you were not pregnant?

Thanks for playing!

Yes... by chart alone I couldn't have guessed I was pregnant this cycle. No way at all.

All of my charts are similar (by far not identical but all have a fairly similar pattern) including the pregnancy one. Of course, Ive also seen women whose charts were obviously pregnant before they found out... and some women who have had non-pregnant charts that looked obviously pregnant.

My chart from a few cycles ago (3?) had the entire ONE thread convinced that I was due in Sept. Well, I'm not pregnant. It was a really pretty chart too! Oh well, more time to save up, I suppose! (I'm WTT)

I'm asking because my chart from this month looks exactly like my pregnancy chart from August except it is .2 lower, same dips, same spikes...sigh...still 10dpo...

Just thought it would be fun to compare others' experiences!

Anyone else???

Out of my 4 pregnancies, they are all a bit different, but 3 a little more alike than the other....the one not as similar pregnant one was the most beautiful chart I've ever ever seen! I'm sure it helped that it was when i had no other children, so I got perfect sleep every night! I had such nice and steady temps pre O and post O, a beautiful spike after O, with a nice triphastic in the LP....blah blah blah.

My other 3 pregnancies had a lot more variation in them. The two consistant things here were a nice spike in temp after O'ing (great for confirming O!) and a very low dip (too soon for implantation for one cycle IMO, because it was 5 & 6DPO with DD, but at 12 & 13DPO I was still getting BFN's). But the other two I guess it was possible, one was 8-9DPO and the other was at 9DPO. These dips went below the coverline or uncomfortably close...each time I thought, OH MAN, this STINKS! So, with these 3 pregnancies, the main thing was the variation in temps and the not prettiness! LOL! But, I did have nice temp spikes for confirming O...which is why I'm not confident for my current cycle!

If you look at my chart overlay...the green one was my pregnancy chart from DS. As you can see, it blends in very nicely with all those other very non-pregnant charts!
The only way a chart really indicates pregnancy is when AF doesn't show! LOL

notice how it is nearly identical to my average line?

I actually decided to stop temping after O is confirmed this cycle because last month's was perfectly parallel for 12-13 days until the drop before AF.
I was absolutely convinced by my chart...snifff
