TMI-discharge question

About 2 days ago I had a little pink when I wiped-not red, bot brown. I couldn't tell if it was just the lighting or yet another bladder infection (I get them often). Just now, I have super thick lumpy discharge which I'm assuming is yeast related and it's a bit brown. Is this normal? I'd hate to go to the ER for what is probably a nasty yeast infection and my midwife is 2.5 hours away.

in that case, i would not worry horribly about spotting with no other symptoms (if you are getting bad cramping or bleeding rather than spotting I would at least go in to get checked) but I WOULD call the midwife to let her know its going on and see what she has to say about it. Even if they do nothing about it, it is helpful for them to have that information.

If you think it is yeast, you could try a little plain yogurt. You just rub a bit around and up inside (maybe a teaspoon) a few times a day and it can help balance things out. I don't think it could hurt anything, but you can call your midwife to get her advice. My discharge does change during pregnancy, but I would say it is more gooey than lumpy. (Sorry if TMI).
