Diaper pail question and insert question

I got two small fuzzi bunz from a friend both green really cute she was done with them hopefully even though they are small they will fit for a while. They didn't come with inserts and a friend told me I could just cut some microfiber towels and make inserts cause she knows we are on a budget plus I could use the towels for other things too. What inserts would you get?
Also I am looking to get an inexpensive diaper pail at Walmart is there anyone that you recommend? My plan at this point cause our budget is so tight is to wait til we get taxes back to buy more diapers and just use sposies for now we simply don't have the income on one income!I got a bunch of size ones at my shower so I hope we can make it last.

You can just use the microfibre towels you get in the auto section as inserts - fold them and stuff. Make sure you never use microfibre next to your LO's skin though as it is irritating.

If you're on a budget, you don't even need a pail. Lots of people use a pillowcase inside a regular trashcan (dry pail). We use a waterproof bag (wetbag) inside a trash can. You don't need a lid unless you have pets or want to use a wet pail. You can even buy a wetbag that hangs on a doorknob, eliminating the need for a pail at all. Or you can just use a trash can with no liner (but you'll have to rinse/wash it each time)

I just have a cheap flip top trash can from Walmart and I don't use a liner of any kind. I try to keep the poopy diapers folded on themselves when I put them in there. I don't have to wash it every time. It doesn't smell fresh after I dump the diapers in the wash but it doesn't stink up the room YK? If there is poo streaked inside it I will wash it out which is really simple I spray it down with vinegar water and spray it with hot water and its done.
