Banana free/low sugar (all kinds)/high calorie/nutrient dense kid-friendly smoothie??

Is it possible?
DD's holistic dentist outlawed all fruit juices, bananas and grapes from her diet to help reverse teeth decalcification. She doesn't eat much, but she will USUALLY drink a ton.
So, I need some help making a yummy smoothie that will help with her nutrition and not further her teeth problem.
Oh, and she won't eat anything green in color. I've even tested it with green candy...
Any ideas?
TIA

so basically a low sugar diet. good advice id say. my son had to have major dental surgery due to decalcification and severe early childhood carries which i now believe were caused by refined, albiet, organic, foods like crackers, and not enough good fats from animal sources.

a good base for a smoothie is coconut milk, the canned stuff is fine, just make sure its "whole", not "lite"/low-fat or it'll be gross and higher in carbs/sugar. frozen fruits that are good in smoothies that are also lower sugar/carb include raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and thats about it. fruit is generally really high in sugar, even apples, oranges, etc. i like almonds in a smoothie and they are high-nutrient and high calories. other nuts like macadamia are yummy too. i also enjoy adding a tablespoon of virgin coconut oil to my smoothies.

I used to make smoothies for my ds that had green stuff like spinach, but added blackberries, raspberries and blueberries (frozen) and the green didn't even show up. I always use yogurt as a base.

Will she do purple? Blueberries and cherries turn green smoothies purple.

My kids love a smoothie made from whole fat yogurt, frozen blueberries and mango, almond slivers, and sunflower seeds. I usually add a splash of water to get the consistency right. I've also added fresh spinach and pureed pumpkin and squash, and they never know.

yogurt, whole milk, or whole coconut milk, as the base
peanut butter, a raw egg yolk, cream, coconut oil for healthy fat, and calories (and flavor on the peanut butter part)
raspberries, mango, blackberries, blueberries (all frozen most of the year) for fruitiness if you want

I imagine peanut butter, yogurt, milk and an egg yolk blended would be so good. in fact, I think I have all of those things. breakfast, here I come

And if raw eggs squig you out (my dh totally freaks! ) I just make a coconut milk 4 egg custard sort of deal (heat the milk, temper the eggs whisk in the eggs and stir until it thickens), add some vanilla and cinnamon and chill. It is sort of like a loose pudding or yogurt consistancy, and I can chuck it into a spinach and mixed berry smoothie and my kiddos LOVE it!

Oh wow, that is what I'm afraid of. We go to a holistic dentist and he has us doing an extensive nutrition and hygeine change to try to reverse the problem. Her problem is two fold, she doesn't eat very much and because of that, we have pretty much let her eat whatever she will eat to at least get something into her... A viscious cycle

that's great! I hope I can hide all the good stuff without her catching on!

For teeth, I'd make sure to base all the smoothies off of raw grassfed whole milk. It's full of vitamin k2, which is so important for the health of your teeth.

seriously, it is worth all your hardest efforts to avoid dental problems for your child. my son has had to have two baby teeth extracted as an older child before they were ready to come out due to having pulpotomys (baby root canals) as a three year old and having the tooth essentially die because the living root is no longer there. the cavities have caused him pain and me a lot of worry and money too.

he has not had any new cavities since about age 3, when he started eating steak, drinking whole milk, eating lots of whole milk cheese and plenty of butter. i always fed him "organic' food but it was still processed and heavy on refined grains. his new, holistic dentist said he recomends against ANYTHING processed that turns into sugar in the body, including pasta and bread. so basically whole dairy is ok, coconut foods, any animal foods are good, veggies are great, fruit not so much.
