Teething

(there needs to be one with ulling hair out)

DS screamed for an hour bc he's teething and he is in so much pain. He was tightening up his body he was hurting so bad. I tried everything...but he wouldn't even let me touch him. He finally let me hold him and I walked and swayed with him until fell asleep. I wish I could take the pain for him. Poor thing!

Hugs. We're teething hard here too - all 4 molars and all 4 canines. In fact, I think all the remaining teeth will come in at once now. This is how he teethed the first 8.

Maybe when he's done he'll finally sleep?!

He fell asleep I think out of pure exhaustion. He got his 4 front teeth when he was a baby, and then none for months and months until this past week. The funny thing is, is that when these teeth broke through, he was fine...it's just now that he's screaming...I guess bc they are the back thick ones and they hurt more. He's doing good today though.

I'm sorry that you are going through it too. Hope you are getting some sleep. Doesn't it make you want to cry seeing them go through so much pain?!

I'm so sorry, it's so hard to see them in pain! DD started teething at 4 months and we had no idea what was going on...I remember the first time we gave her chamomile drops, she got such relief that she passed out - like someone flipped the "off" switch. It kind of freaked us out!

Thank goodness we are finally done (with this one, anyways) at age 2. We did not hesitate to give DD Tylenol when she was in so much pain, when the chamomile did not seem to help. We (adults) can process pain intellectually, and know what it's going to go away. DD can't, so the pain relief made a HUGE difference.
