ok, that scene with Tara in the closet of the dead guys house....HATED IT!!! I thought it seemed so fake! And the sister, OYE, the sister I just wanna shoot her!!!! I love John Corbet though. Hes like a nice dose of normal iun the midst of complete chaos. And hes nice to look at too.

Yeah, he seems so relaxed and has a calming affect on everyone.

Linoel cracks me UP!

Charmaine drives me BATTY!

Max is awsome, and I wish Tara would be more thankful to have him.

I know! He puts up with SO MUCH (what "normal" man would allow someone to pound on him in the middle of the night and not hit back?) and when he gets the slightest bit frustrated she gets all pissy about it. I'm always saying, "Really? Really Tara?? Chill out. You just XYZ, give the guy a break!"

So Alice was modeled after this babysitter...interesting. She must have been a hard@$$ about manners or something and Tara developed this alter to be perfect.

I have been wondering how Buck might be linked to whatever the house with the sentenial flag is all about. Remember how he said something about getting his dick shot off in Vietnam? And then that artsy lady, (name?) said she spent more time on the detail of the flag then the house itself. AND, Charmaine made a comment about the flag too, and its detail. And lets not forget the whole basement stuff. Charmaine KNOWS SOMETHING.

Have you read the epi details and prefaces on Wikipedia?

No, but I don't generally trust Wikipedia

They are just episode prefaces. Apparently we are supposed to find out what happened to Tara in the last epi of the season. AND, they signed on for a 3rd season.

So...a few thoughts.

- The co-conscious thing is a good thing. Yes, it makes it harder but it means that there's major work being done.

- Tee remembered Dwayne but he "wasn't around" at that time? Maybe he was just in the town and hadn't "met" Mimi yet?

I just watched the most recent episode. It seems like they are really coming close to finding out what happened!

Something I keep coming back to is that weird alter that wore a red rain slicker, grunted, and peed on her dad. The slicker is just like the one she is wearing in the flashback at Mimi's house. Maybe their dad did something? Clearly, something happened with her parents if the girls were put in foster care, unless Mimi was lying.

Well, the way that Tee reacted to Dwayne maybe it's men in general?

I am still thinking Buck is an alter of a person from her past, like Alice. And now with the previews and her father saying something about Their brother should be there for the wedding, and Tara is all,"We dont have a brother". I am betting her brother was in Vietnam as a teen, was injured, came back all messed up in the head, abused Tara and Charmaine, and had to be put away OR killed himself.

Did anyone else notice charmaine seemed to be revolted when Dwayne showed up? I couldnt tell if that was in response to the revelation of thier being in foster care, or to Dwayne himself.

Oohh good thoughts.

I think it was the foster care thing. She doesn't seem to have memories from that time, I think she was too young.

Ooh, good points, Barbie.

AFWife, I don't think the explanation is as simple as she is revolted by all men. Maybe men that fit a certain profile or stereotype?

That is totally what I meant...

It can't be a physical type though because I'd say that Neil and Dwayne are built similarly.
