bringing back ovulation?

hi all,
I have a 15 month old son who is still nursing 5 times throughout the day--upon waking up, nap, afternoon, bed, and 5:00 AM. We night-weaned about a month ago and are pretty good about getting a 8 hour stretch most nights without nursing (my DH is an angel with helping out!!!). I started charting about the same time we night weaned, and my chart is all kinds of crazy...

I have yet to have my first PPAF--any ideas on what else I could do to kick start ovulation? We have been TTC since September (hoping to catch the first egg...which is still remaining elusive...). I have been taking maca.

Any other tips??

My chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2d07d8

Thanks!

Your chart looks like your body may still be normalizing from weaning. I dont' have experience in this, but I have heard other ladies say that sometimes it takes a couple months for ovulation to kick in. Anybody with experience want to correct/add?

Wembles, I wish I knew! My boy is 19 months, and I have tried to cut down the nursing, and do about the same as you, although he does have it for comfort if he needs it. In my research I read that vitex and b6 may help, so I tried that for a couple of months and nothing happened.I also take Maca every day and still nothing! I think that for some women it really does require weaning, or a lot less nursing. My last child before this one was nursed til she was almost three, but my fertility did return before then, I think she was about two. I'm not sure!
Sorry I can't be more help.
