I'm wanting to take things that would be especially helpful for someone with anxiety disorder/panic/ depression/ lack of energy and motivation. I'm already seeing a psychiatrist for this, and am on medications. He mentioned the omega 3's and Vitamin D. Since I'm going shopping, anything else that would be helpful, well, would be helpful LOL!

Not by brand, or I'll get confused lol....

I know omega 3's are helpful for many things. I'll get flaxseed oil. Do you know the dosage for an adult?
Vitamin D3?
Mulitivitamin

Those symptoms often are caused by low serotonin. Some serotonin nutrients are food folate (not folic acid), B12 (sublingual, not cyano- form), zinc (especially if beets turn your pee pink), magnesium, niacin, and B6.

The site seems to be down right now, but if it comes back up, it has some good info:

cool, thank you. I'll see if the link works btw. I think I'll just get the zinc, I don't want to eat them to see if my pee turns pink LOL

That you can get in a multivit, although you mentioned no brands, one of the easiest-to-find brands online (lots of places sell it) with real folate is Thorne, and their Basic Nutrients multivitamins. Just mentioning it because most multivits have folic acid, and although some people convert well, others do not.

The vitamin D council website discusses vitamin D dosing, in general 5,000 IU is a nice maintenance dose for an adult, but to make up a deficiency, you'd need more, and at some point a blood test would be reasonable.
