Positive line isn't getting darker

I tested positive at 9DPO, the line was clearly there but much lighter than the control. Now I'm 11DPO and the line hasn't become darker, or lighter. I googled "line not getting darker" and read a bunch of posts from other girls who experienced the same thing-- and they almost always ended up having a miscarriage. Has anyone had this happen to them and *not* had a miscarriage? This is my first pregnancy after trying for several years and I'm very worried about losing it.

breathe!!!!!!!! You are still alittle early. Wait a couple days, test again, it may just be the type of tests you are using Have you called your midwife/ob yet to get a blood test? Might make you feel a bit better after trying that long Good luck mamma, and sticky vibes your way!!!!!!!!

A + is a +, line darkness doesn't mean anything. Mine was never super dark and I am 17 weeks now.

Thanks ladies, I'm feeling a little less worried about it now.

I am a POAS-aholic, and peed on tests like every day for a month after I got my + lol. They were all the same color darkness for a few weeks. They didn't get super dark until like 25 DPO. Don't worry!

I got my first + at 10dpo if I remember right, and I think I paos for a week after that and it never really got any darker. Now I'm 25 weeks pg and everything is going as it is supposed to. Try not to worry.

some tests get darker REALLY slowly...

while this is a bad picture of it, its a pretty good example

that is my IC tests from 11dpo when I started testing, through 20dpo... now Im 14 1/2 weeks along!

there are several 2 day increments you cant see any visible change between... 2 days is NOT enough time to judge ANYTHING that early!

So take a deep breath and relax.

I can't even get a positive at 11dpo. Try not to stress. Relax, and test again in a few days if you think it'll help. Testing everyday may just create more stress than needed.

The line doesnt' need to get darker. If it's positive then you're pregnant. Mine never got dark and I'm almost 36 weeks.

Well you've heard it already but I've got to chime in and say that lines never get darker as fast as we want them to. There will not be a big jump of several shades from one day to the next. By 15 dpo, you will feel like you've been pregnant for ever (because the combination of being pregnant and keeping a secret slows time down to as slow as it can possibly go) and still the line still won't be that dark.

I am a testaholic and tested well over 20 times with both pregnancies. Only by looking at a gradation of a month's worth of tests and by standing way back could I really see a dramatic progression. This time around, my ICs never got even close to as the test line but I saw my wiggly mini-person just the other day and all is well!

I lost count of the number of tests I took. The line was faint every time.

I am now almost 35 weeks pregnant. With twins.

I really don't think the darkness of the line means much. Part of it depends on the amount of dye used in the test in that particular batch, too.
