Hello! I gave birth on the 12th to a BABY GIRL!!!!!
Helen was born just before noon, after a 2.5 hour labor. She was born at home, in the water, into mine and dh's hands, and he brought her up. She looked around, then went back to sleep. She is a calm, beautiful child. Our older 2 were witness to her birth, and got to tell us they had a sister.
Just wanted to share our joy!!!
And good birthing to all of you still waiting for your little ones! Helen was born at 41 weeks, after we thought it'd be more like 39, so the last 2 weeks were spent in alternating nesting activities and being depressed at not having gone into labor. But, sure enough, she was born just at the right time!!
