Grooming

Now that the belly is big, my nether regions are getting harder and harder to groom. So far I've just been ignoring it, but it's starting to get a little gross for my comfort. I'm a little afraid to trim the area with scissors, since I can't see... I'm really at a loss.

What are you doing? Anyone else with this problem?

Tmi, but my husband takes care of it with his beard trimmer...he's a gem.

I just asked my husband if he would help me out with this. Things have reached an uncomfortably critical point...

i pretty much let it grow wild until after birth.

I use my husband's beard trimmer as well. I do it without his help since you can't really mess up!

I use my husbands as well. I miss patches constantly, so it can get uncomfortable. Maybe I'll ask him for some help.

I know! Every time I trim I think, this could be the last time so I do it extra short. In the past I have just ignored it till after birth, I might feel weird about having my hubby do it but if it starts to bug me I will totally have him do it.

When I was pregnant w/ my first I put a little corner seat into the shower. It helps to be able to lift up one foot on something sturdy.

While pg with dd I bought a little personal trimmer/groomer thing. Can't cut me, so I just use without looking. It works, but I can't always tell if the end result looks ok, but I don't care

Dp does it. He enjoys it.

I don't know why, but I get really uncomfortable about DH grooming me down there when I'm pregnant. It is odd b/c we are so comfortable around each other.

I've pretty much been letting mine go wild, but I agree with other posters' suggestions for a beard trimmer. Personally, I like mine mostly bare but I can't manage it when pregnant.

My DD was a scheduled C/S and I wanted to have everything "prepped" down there before I went in. I somehow managed to shave it myself - maybe muscle memory? - and my nurse was really grateful.

I usually like to be nearly bare or bare, but pregnant i just keep my labia bare (sit on the edge of the bath and mainly by sense of touch, with a razor with bars over the blades, shave it off, as fast as i can because things are getting a bit swollen down there and it's not too comfortable sitting like that!) and leave the "triangle" (not triangular in full fledge but there you go) as it is. When it's driving me crazy i trim it shorter with a pair of scissors and a mirror (which takes a bit to get into because of the mirror meaning you have to focus and reverse what is happening). When i am at the stage of passing off that sort of personal care to ANYone else, DH or not, you can start digging the hole i'm going into!

Hubby does the trimming, pregnant or not. I badly cut myself once while we were still dating, and went on a complete strike shaving-wise. DH and I have an understanding - if you like it trimmed or bare, it's your job to make it so...and him doing it adds to the foreplay as well...it's really a win-win for us both!

I do it myself using the touch and feel method and hope I get it right! I haven't had any accidents yet! I have never even asked DH to help me out

I got used to being clean shaven when I was a lifeguard, so I can't stand it if I'm not. I just go for it blind and hope for the best!
