When to move baby in own room?

We have two boys. Our oldest will be 2 in April and our youngest is 11 weeks tomorrow...
We cosleep with our youngest and our oldest has his own room. We have a crib set up for our youngest & aren't sure when to begin putting him in it. He's almost outgrowing his bassinet & we have limited space in our room. I may begin to just put him in the bouncy seat because he only sleeps with out us for half the night anyway....

When do you transition them to sleep in the own room, especially if the two are sharing a room. Our oldest wakes up one to several times a night...and I don't want for him to wake his brother...hence the reason why we've not used the crib yet.

DD moved to her own room when she was around 2 (her choice). DS is 21 months and still in our room. I could never put a very young infant in their own room. I know that the SIDS studies show that it is protective for babies to sleep in the same room with their parents. Not to mention, it's so much easier to nurse them, care for them, assure that they are safe when they're right there.

I moved ds to his own room at 5 months. He never would sleep in the bassinet, and he started kicking in his sleep, waking us both up and it was just time. We both slept much better after that.

There's no set time, just put him in his own crib whenever you feel comfortable doing it if you feel like you don't want to co-sleep anymore.

I'm not sure the bouncy seat is the best place of a baby to sleep for long periods of time, but you should check on that.

The advice I've heard from our local public health department is that babies should share a room with their parents for at least six months.
I have read it's not safe for babies to sleep for long periods in a reclined position such as in a bucket or bouncy seat.
We set up a crib at the foot of our bed - it was tight but we could sqeeeeeeze into bed, barely! - and DS slept there until he was a year old.

Thanks ladies for your imput/advice.

I think what I'm going to do (as I did not know about the bouncy seat thing) is buy one of those toddler bed rails and put it on our bed. That way DS2 can just sleep with us when he grows out of the bassinet and not roll of the bed. I'll welcome him in our bed for as long as he wants to sleep there and doesn't kick me out! lol DS1 slept in our room for 2 months, as he had already begun to kick me and wake us up several times a night...it was like he was trying to take over the bed!
