So you guys know I had to have a c section on the 10th. The OB closed my incision with staples, the pain has pretty much subsided, the staples are out and I just have some sort of tape looking stuff that dissolves on it's own. ANYWAYS, Daddy leaves tomorrow. He is gone for a whole year this time and yes, baby and I can go visit him now and then but still, it's s year. So here's the TMI part. I'm super horny. I just want it once before he goes. As long as we use protection do you think it'll be alright? Sigh.

Honestly, I probably would, but then I had sex two weeks PP with both (no c-section tho). If you are slow and gentle and use protection I don't see how once can hurt anything. Especially when your man is leaving for a year!

With my oldest, my CNM (on the med-wifey side too) gave us the okay after my 2 week visit. I think we were together at 2.5 weeks post partum, and it was not too bad.

I think it is all so individual, but I had the "official" okay at 2 weeks after a vaginal delivery with my first.

I bled longer w/ my 2nd child and held off for that reason, but was so. ready. for a few weeks before that.

I have a friend who started in nightly 2 weeks after her section. I would say if you feel ok about it, go for it... just maybe pick a position that won't pull on your incision.

I'm having a hard time not attacking DH for sex, but I'm still bleeding (only a week post partum come 11pm) so I have to wait. If you feel up for it and can find time alone go for it!

I always tell people to wait until the bleeding stops..until then you are at risk for infection. But in this case, if you're up for it, I'd say go for it...he's gonna be gone for a long time!

I never wait 6 weeks either, I think we waited a week with our last child.

Bleeding was no longer coming from uterus ; my cervix is closed. So we did it in the shower because I had residual blood..

It was ok. I would have rather been in bed on top but oh well
